RISK DISCLOSURE

What can go wrong, in plain language.

Trading automated strategies with real capital carries a real possibility of loss. This page states the main risks, key execution factors and what you should check before allocating capital.

RISK DISCLOSURE

Historical performance and market execution Market risk Leverage multiplies losses as well as gains Drawdown is the real measure of pain Custody and counterparty risk Operational and technical risk Liquidity and withdrawal risk No guarantee of returns Regulatory context
01

Historical performance and market execution

The metrics shown for each strategy reflect algorithmic historical execution. Live market conditions, including liquidity gaps, exchange volatility, network latency and counterparty shifts can influence live operations. Past performance is not a promise of future results, and capital should always be managed with appropriate risk parameters.

02

Market risk

Cryptocurrency prices can move sharply and in either direction, at any time, including outside normal trading hours. A strategy that performed well in one regime can lose money in another. The entire capital you allocate is exposed to these movements.

03

Leverage multiplies losses as well as gains

The strategies on this platform operate with leverage. Leverage magnifies the result of every operation, both positive and negative. A modest adverse movement can therefore produce a disproportionate loss in your allocated capital.

04

Drawdown is the real measure of pain

Maximum drawdown measures the worst fall from a peak of the equity curve to the lowest point that follows it. It is the figure that best describes how much of your capital can disappear before the strategy recovers. Review it before you allocate, not afterwards.

05

Custody and counterparty risk

Holding funds with a platform that operates the trading infrastructure introduces counterparty risk: the platform itself, its banking partners, its custodians and its technology providers can fail, be compromised or be unable to deliver. This risk exists independently of how well a strategy performs.

06

Operational and technical risk

The service depends on servers, networks, exchanges, payment processors and third-party APIs. Outages, network congestion, failed deposits or withdrawals, exchange maintenance windows, incorrect balances and software defects can all interrupt the service or delay a transaction.

07

Liquidity and withdrawal risk

A withdrawal can be delayed by the confirmation times of the selected blockchain network, by a pending review or by a network congestion. The minimum withdrawal threshold is shown in the interface before you request it.

08

No guarantee of returns

HighAlphaTrading does not guarantee profit, does not protect against loss of capital and does not provide financial advice. Nothing on this website is a recommendation to invest. You remain responsible for every allocation decision you make.

09

Regulatory context

The availability of this service is restricted to users located in jurisdictions where it is lawful to use it. Eligibility, age requirements and the legal terms that apply to your account are described in the Terms of Use.

Before you allocate

Read the fee schedule, check the maximum drawdown and the period measured, size the allocation so that a full loss would not affect your financial situation, and withdraw regularly instead of leaving everything deployed.
